Search for dambusters

AN Australian man wants to track relatives of a Dambuster who came from Crook.

Ian Arnold is researching the crews of the 617 squadron Lancaster bombers used to drop the bouncing bomb into German dams during World war two.

Mr Arnold, who lives in Binningup in Western Australia, wants to speak to the relatives of Sgt Thomas Faye who was born in 1922 in Crook. Sgt Faye was killed in action on May 17, 1943.
