Dales drivers splash out for injured firefighters

STANHOPE firefighters have been getting in a lather in a bid to raise fire safety awareness.
On Saturday, March 17, Stanhope fire station was open for all car washing business and managed to raise £134 to help firefighters injured through their dangerous and invaluable work.
The day also led to 12 people requesting their homes be checked for fire safety and to have smoke alarms fitted.
