Lib Dem Councillor Taylor seems to me to be something of a bully. Perhaps he should be reminded that we are supposed to be living in a democracy. Helen Goodman is free to vote or not on any issue, and I agree with her stance in relation to the Gurkhas. The Lib Dems are jockeying for position to gain kudos and votes from the Nepalese Gurkhas. The fact is that they actually couldn't care less about them, and even less so the Tories. It's the Labour Government who have treated them more than fairly, but they don't seem to ever be satisfied.
